Why did we choose to promote and service AllerAir Air Purifiers?
Before we set our mind we have tried out several air purifiers for residential use from manufacturers as Austin, IQ Air and Blue Air.

FILTRATION:

AllerAir 5000 Exec has a Hepa filter, two microbial filters, and a pro dense pre-filter as well as 18 pounds of carbon.

IQAir HealthPro has a Hepa filter that is encased in Styrofoam plus only 8 pounds of carbon.

AllerAir 5000 Exec requires only a screwdriver to replace the hepa or carbon filters. To change the pre-filter it only takes about 15 seconds with no tools required.

IQAir HealthPro requires a special tool for changing the carbon filters. Easy to misplace, also very difficult to use. Do change any filter you need to disassemble the entire machine. You may need more than one person.

Sound Level:

The IQAir unit is very quiet on very low speed. However there is almost no airflow, therefore very little filtration is taking place at low speed. Second and third speeds are more reasonable for filtration. Sound level is the same as the 5000Exec at low speed.

With the IQAir unit at it’s highest speed it is difficult to have a conversation in the room. Very noisy.
